On September 10, Sioux Falls West Rotary members dedicated their morning to engaging with adults with disabilities at DakotAbilities. They toured the Longfellow Center, where Meaningful Day services are offered, supporting 135 individuals with accessible housing and round-the-clock nursing care. Most participants enjoy a variety of activities like art, music, nutrition, gardening, life skills, and fitness.
DakotAbilities has served Sioux Falls since 1965, promoting each person's potential and fostering community integration through outings to venues like the Washington Pavilion, Great Plains Zoo, and Midco Aquatic Center. By connecting over coffee, donuts, and BINGO, club members made a meaningful impact, embodying DakotAbilities' mission to create a supportive and inclusive community.
