The event featured a variety of interactive booths centered around the 250th anniversary of American independence. Activities combined history, creativity, and sensory engagement, allowing children to learn while exploring different textures, colors, and hands-on projects designed to support focus and participation.
Club member Vandhana Baireddy reflected on the experience, saying, "We had a wonderful time volunteering during such a fun-filled evening. The children particularly enjoyed the tactile elements, engaging with different textures, figures, and color choices to explore the theme. It was a great way to combine learning with sensory engagement."
Through their volunteer service, Rotary members helped create an inclusive and engaging environment where children could celebrate, learn, and have fun. It's another wonderful example of the Rotary Club of Sioux Falls West putting Service Above Self into action and making a positive impact in their community.
