Students at Luverne, Hills-Beaver Creek, Edgerton Public and Private Schools, and Adrian Elementary School each received a new helmet—many in colors that matched their school spirit. The program helps ensure young riders have the proper safety equipment as they head into the summer biking season.
The helmet giveaway is a long-standing Rotary tradition and is followed by the Optimist Club's annual Bike Rodeo, where students learn important bicycle safety skills and practices. Together, these community efforts provide a fun and educational start to the season while reinforcing the importance of safe cycling habits.
Through projects like this, the Luverne Rotary Club continues its commitment to supporting youth and promoting safety throughout the community.
