The Rotary Club of Wagner recently welcomed 11 Rotarians from Thailand for a four-night visit as part of a Rotary Friendship Exchange, celebrating the connections that bring people and communities together across the globe. During the first two days of their visit, the group explored the rich culture, history, and hospitality of South Dakota while building friendships with local Rotarians and community members.

Their itinerary included a visit to the inspiring Dignity of Earth and Sky statue in Chamberlain, time at Marty Church with Sister Pat, and an introduction to local Native American culture with Wesley Hare and his drum group. The group also visited the Peace Creek Hutterite Colony and enjoyed an evening of fellowship and conversation with Wagner Rotarians at Choteau Creek Brewing.
The visit has been filled with meaningful cultural experiences, engaging conversations, and opportunities to learn from one another. These exchanges reflect the spirit of Rotary by bringing people together, strengthening international understanding, and building lasting friendships across borders.
The Wagner Rotary Club is grateful for the opportunity to share its community and South Dakota hospitality with its visitors from Thailand. With two more days of activities ahead, the friendships and memories made through this exchange are sure to continue growing!
Rotary connects the world—one friendship at a time.
