Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary showed up big along Rotary Way at Jacobson Plaza—handing out candy and Sioux 52 Mentoring information to more than 3,000 kids during the Not So Scary Trail or Treat. The family-friendly evening, hosted by Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation, delivered a steady parade of costumes, games, and community spirit.
Even our four-legged friends got in on the fun with the Woof or Treat Trail, and the crowd-packed “Thriller” dance at 7:00 PM stole the show.
Our volunteers kept the line moving and the conversations meaningful—sharing how Sioux 52 connects caring adults with students who benefit from consistent encouragement and guidance. It was simple, high-touch outreach with real impact: thousands of smiles, dozens of mentoring conversations, and new connections that will carry forward long after the last candy wrapper is recycled.
