In her own words, Lucinda Noronha from the Rotary Club of Sioux Falls West, shares her thoughts on this experience.  "The Zone Institute was an incredible experience: Energizing, insightful, and full of meaningful moments. One of the most special highlights for me was being selected as a flag bearer during the Flag Ceremony. I had the honor of carrying the Italian flag in tribute to RI President Francesco Arezzo, and it was both joyful and humbling."

"It really brought home the global spirit of Rotary and the unity we share across borders.

Throughout the week, I had the chance to connect with Rotarians from other districts, swapping stories, sharing strategies, and learning from one another. I participated in the Leadership Development track, which focused on the CliftonStrength assessments. We explored different leadership styles and how generational perspectives shape Rotary's future. The sessions wrapped up with a powerful panel moderated by RI Past President and current Rotary Foundation Chair-Elect Jennifer Jones, featuring RI President-Elect Yinka Babaloa, RI Directors Mick Mizuno and Salvador Rizzo Tavares, Director-Elect Tom Gump, and Rotary Foundation Trustee Marty Helman. Their insights were inspiring and full of practical takeaways.

One of my favorite parts of the week was our District Working Session. It was exciting to see how everything we'd learned came together as we collaborated on our District's 3-year Strategic Plan. I left the Institute feeling recharged, equipped with new tools, and grateful for the camaraderie and commitment of our district team. It was a week of learning, laughter, and leadership, and I'm looking forward to putting these lessons into action back home."
