Vermillion Rotary members demonstrate their commitment to community service. Following their regular weekly meeting, a dozen members of the Vermillion Rotary Club spent time giving back to their community by packing 500 hygiene kits for the food pantry at Feeding Vermillion.
The supplies for the kits were purchased by Katelyn Oyen, founder of the Empower Hygiene Project, using funds donated by Vermillion Rotarians. Through this collaboration, club members helped prepare essential hygiene supplies for individuals and families served by the local food pantry.
The project highlights the impact that can be made when community members and service organizations work together to address local needs. By combining financial support with hands-on volunteer service, Vermillion Rotarians continue to demonstrate their commitment to helping others and strengthening their community.
Thank you to the Vermillion Rotary Club members and Katelyn Oyen for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of their neighbors.
This is Rotary in action!
