The Sturgis Rotaract Club is proud to announce the installation of two new outdoor musical instruments at Sturgis City Park, expanding the community’s interactive music space. The additions — a Jingle Metallophone and Warble Chimes — invite residents and visitors alike to make music together in the heart of the city.

This project represents the culmination of a year-long fundraising effort by the club, following the success of a previously installed conga drum set. Through creative and engaging community events such as Music Bingo, Trivia Nights, and Legos & Lagers, the Rotaractors raised more than $12,000. These events were made possible thanks to partnerships with Sturgis Brewing Company and Bullwacker’s Saloon & Steakhouse in Whitewood.
A $4,500 Rotary District Grant, along with sponsorships and donations from generous community members, helped bring the project to life.
The Sturgis Rotaract Club’s commitment to enhancing community spaces demonstrates the power of young leaders creating lasting impact — one note at a time.
