Members of the Sioux Falls South Rotary Club recently put Service Above Self into action by serving a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, offering both nourishment and encouragement during a challenging time.

In addition to preparing and serving dinner, Rotarians extended their support through a financial contribution, presented during the visit to help further the House’s mission of keeping families close to their children while they receive medical care.

Understanding that comfort comes in many forms, club members also donated soft blankets, stuffed toys, and books, bringing smiles and a sense of warmth to children and families who call the Ronald McDonald House their temporary home.

This meaningful project reflects the heart of Rotary—meeting community needs with compassion, generosity, and hands-on service. Sioux Falls South Rotary’s efforts helped remind families that they are not alone and that their community stands beside them during difficult moments.
