Rushmore Rotary joined community volunteers for the United Way of the Black Hills Day of Caring on September 4, lending their time and energy to support the Arise Youth Center, a program of Lutheran Social Services.

Rotarians rolled up their sleeves to help with a variety of projects — from weeding, harvesting, and rebuilding the garden frame to organizing the center’s donation closet. Their efforts not only improved the facility but also supported the center’s mission to provide a nurturing environment for local youth.

It was truly a great day of Service Above Self, demonstrating how Rotary makes a difference through hands-on community service.
