This holiday season, members of the Rotary Club of Sioux City found a simple yet meaningful way to brighten the days of local seniors. Rotarians designed handmade holiday cards filled with heartfelt messages and cheerful drawings, each one created with care and compassion.
The cards were delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients served through the Connections Area Agency on Aging, bringing a personal touch to the meals and services these seniors receive throughout the year. For many elderly individuals, a kind note and festive greeting can mean just as much as the meal itself—reminding them they are remembered, valued, and part of a caring community.
Through this thoughtful service project, Sioux City Rotarians demonstrated that Rotary’s impact isn’t always measured by large events or fundraising totals, but by small acts of kindness that create meaningful connections and spread joy where it’s needed most.
