The Rotary Club of Marshall Sunrise is making waves in their community with a generous $20,000 contribution to the new Marshall Aquatic Center currently under construction.
On a recent day filled with community spirit, Club President President Dave Haen presented a check for $10,000 to Preston Stensrud, Park and Recreation Superintendent for the City of Marshall. This donation matched a previous $10,000 already contributed—doubling the impact and bringing the total Rotary support for the project to $20,000.
A portion of the funds was made possible through a Rotary District 5610 grant, demonstrating how local clubs and district resources can work together to build vibrant, family-friendly spaces that serve the entire community.
The new Aquatic Center is expected to be a cornerstone of summer recreation in Marshall, and Rotary’s investment highlights their ongoing mission to create lasting change—locally and beyond.
