The Rapid City Rotary Club Advocates in Action service club stocked the Lakota Homes Food Pantry in Rapid City through the holidays. The pantry was initiated by the Rapid City Rotary Club in 2020 to serve residents of the Lakota Homes community located in North Rapid City during COVID.
During the months of November and December 2025, members of the Rotary Club and the Advocates in Action donated over $2000 to purchase grocery items to stock the pantry for Lakota Homes residents and other community members.
Rapid City Rotary also purchased ingredients and received donations from Timmons Market for the Lakota Homes Oyate Center Thanksgiving Dinner for Elders and Disabled from the Lakota Homes community.
