The Mitchell Rotary Club made a meaningful impact throughout the holiday season with several projects aimed at supporting local families and community partners. Early in December, club members completed a hands-on service project assembling shelf-stable meal kits, which were delivered to the Mitchell High School Caring Closet and the Mitchell Food Pantry. These kits helped ensure students and families entered the Christmas break with easy-to-prepare meals on hand.
At the Dec. 18 club meeting, Rotarians showed their generosity once again by raising more than $2,700 in just one hour to support the Salvation Army and its ongoing efforts to assist those in need.

In addition, members of the Mitchell Interact Club assembled holiday goodie trays for local organizations and public service agencies, sharing treats and appreciation with those who serve the community year round.

Together, these efforts reflect Mitchell Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self” and highlight the club’s dedication to making a positive difference during the holiday season.
