As DG Bruce & Kim Nearhood, visit clubs across the District, Kim has been creating some lasting memories.
Hello, Irresistible Rotarians of District 5610! Bruce and I were on the road in July, August and September visiting clubs throughout the district. Our goal was to see every club before the district conference in October, but fell short by one. (We’re still coming to you, Custer.) We have crisscrossed the district and seen the beautiful Missouri River from Mobridge, Gettysburg, Pierre and Yankton as well as crossing it many times at Chamberlain. We’ve logged over 10,000 miles!
We have felt welcomed by you all. Each club has been different, some larger, some smaller, some with younger members, some not as much. What makes us all the same though is the work that each club does for their community. It has been exciting to hear about the projects and activities that you all are involved in. Your communities are fortunate to have you! It has been refreshing to meet so many great people during our visits. It has solidified for me why I am proud to be part of this amazing organization. Thank you are for being so welcoming!
