Together, we did something remarkable. We are excited to share that our district contributed $134,677.99 to The Rotary Foundation's Annual Fund this Rotary year—a significant milestone that reflects the generosity and commitment of our members.
What's even more impressive is that we achieved this total without holding our annual raffle. Last year, with the raffle, our district raised $130,706, making this year's total an increase of nearly $4,000.
This accomplishment speaks volumes about the dedication of our Rotarians. When we made the decision to move away from the raffle, our members embraced the change and stepped up in an incredible way. Because of your generosity, we also increased our per capita giving from $87.08 to $90.21, demonstrating our continued commitment to doing good in the world through The Rotary Foundation.
While we are still awaiting the official Every Rotarian, Every Year report from Rotary International, preliminary numbers indicate that 12 clubs may qualify for recognition based on their outstanding per capita giving. We look forward to celebrating those achievements once the official report is released.
